Flamingo Strut 5k on Sunday, April 2nd

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Mark your calendars and come join us for this year's Flamingo Strut 5k on Sunday, April 2nd! Support Our Schools while you gear up for this event. It is fun for the whole family! Breakfast will be available to all participants. Also everyone who completes the run will receive a medal!

Event Schedule

Race Day Registration: 6:00am
5K RUN/Walk: 7:30am
(Walk is a non-competitive, NO chips or rewards)
Fun Run (9 years old and younger): 8:30am

Entry Fee
(Fee non-refundable, includes T-shirt and refreshments)
Pre-Registration: $25.00
Race Day Registration: $30.00
Fun Run Registration: $10.00

You can not only run/walk, you can pledge dollars too! Ask family, friends, co-workers to donate on your behalf. Pledging can be fun- get a team together, learn about pledge prizes, be listed as a top fundraiser....it's another way to raise funds for the City of Pembroke Pines Charter School Systems. 12 & under, 13-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over.

Awards 5K Run:
Top 3 Overall Male/Female
Top 3 Male/Female in each AGE DIVISION

Race Registration:
Online registration is available at www.active.com<http://www.active.com> through March 31. Participants may also register at the race beginning at 6:00am on April 2, 2017

Race Day Packet Pick-up:
Flamingo Park at 6:00am under the pavilion.

Heat Warning: temperatures/humidity can be high in South Florida. Participants should drink plenty of fluids (non-alcoholic) for 48 hours prior to, during, and upon finishing the race. Beware of heat-injury symptoms (dizziness, no sweating, nausea, cramps, redness, incoherent speech and thoughts). Seek immediate assistance if symptoms occur. Wear loose, light colored clothing.
